Aspirant by Adolphe Sax & Cie

For quite some time now, Adolphe Sax & Cie has been focusing on the highest segment. Despite the wide range of study saxophones from other brands, there seemed to be a demand for a better alternative. With the Aspirant by Adolphe Sax & Cie, we can now provide that.

Since some of the largest players shifted production to low-wage countries, the build quality of those instruments has significantly decreased in recent years.

The use of overly soft alloys and inferior pads leads to many problems. Screws break, pads need replacing quickly, and ultimately, the often not so cheap saxophone becomes a costly purchase.

Based on one of the world’s best-selling saxophones, the Aspirant isn’t just an ordinary entry-level saxophone. It’s a mid-range saxophone for the price of a study saxophone.

Even in terms of appearance, the Aspirant surpasses the average saxophone. The matte brushed finish is coated with a clear, thin, protective lacquer. The keys have been nickel-plated to better withstand rough handling, entirely in the tradition of vintage saxophones.

The Aspirant comes with our newest lightweight Adolphe Sax & Cie case. Suggested retail price: €1650, with an introductory price of €1250.

BREAKING NEWS: after much demand, the Aspirant tenor saxophone is now available too!
Suggested retail price: €2435, with an introductory price of €1841.
